CUAB is more than just events and programs — it’s about reimagining what those experiences can be for UNC students. We create a diverse range of opportunities to connect, learn, and have fun. From large-scale entertainment like concerts and comedy shows to cultural events, workshops, and social gatherings, CUAB’s goal is to enrich campus life and grow the Carolina community. Run by students, for students, we engage the entire Tar Heel community, offering free or low-cost events that inspire and
unite, making your Carolina journey one to remember.

Want to get involved? Apply to join one of CUAB’s eight committees! Committees meet once a week and help plan anywhere from one to four events per month. In addition, members attend professional development events like LinkedIn, recognition events, like Cookies with CUAB, and General Body Meetings.
CUAB accepts most members at the beginning of each fall semester, but applications are open year-round. Apply here!
COLLABORATE WITH US
We aim to provide diverse programming that reaches all students, and collaboration with student organizations is a key part of our approach. These partnerships are holistic, requiring both parties to be actively engaged throughout the process—from planning to execution. Collaborations may include financial support and marketing assistance.
What are we looking for?
- Representation: CUAB evaluates the number of students represented and the type of programming offered by the organization.
- Vitality: We assess the organization’s previous involvement on campus and the level of anticipated participation.
- Diversity: We consider the ability of the organization to amplify underrepresented voices in Union programming and across campus.
