Welcome Desk

Looking for a room or event in the FPG Student Union? The Welcome Desk, located in the main lobby of the FPG Student Union, will gladly assist an individual or group with questions about the building. They also serve as a resource for general information about campus. 

 

Carolina Union Study Rooms

The Carolina Union offers four rooms that can be reserved by UNC students, for individual or group study, up to 2 hours at a time, between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. Any UNC student may reserve a room at the Welcome Desk on the second floor of the Union with the assistance of a Guest Services employee.

Students will be asked to log into 25Live (if they have not before) and present a valid OneCard & PID at the time of the reservation. Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis and are not available for advance reservation. Daily room availability for GSU-2502, GSU-2511, GSU-3502, and GSU-3509 can be viewed by UNC students online in 25Live.

 

Lost and Found

Lost and found items are held at the Guest Services Desk, located on the second floor. All items, except credit cards and IDs, are taken daily to the Alpha Phi Omega Lost and Found.

 

Union Reservation Check In & Out

To check in or out of your scheduled meeting, Pit reservation, or solicitation table stop by the desk with your OneCard.

 

CUBE Reservations

The CUBE is available for recognized student organizations for publicizing on-campus events open to the University. Reservations for CUBE panels must be made at least 2 business days prior to the desired advertising date. Reservations can be made in person at the Guest Services Desk Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. A cash payment of $15.00 is due at the time of your reservation for use of the paint cart. Due to environmental and safety reasons, only paint and supplies issued by the Carolina Union are allowed for CUBE painting.  For a full list of policies please refer to the Policies and Documents section of this site.
