Nominations Open for 2025 Chancellor’s Awards

The Carolina Union at UNC-Chapel Hill is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Chancellor’s Awards, an annual event that honors outstanding students, faculty, and staff who have made significant contributions to the Carolina community.

Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to recognize exceptional students by nominating them for the Student Activities & Leadership Awards. Nominations can be submitted for specific named awards or through an open nomination process. To submit a nomination, visit go.unc.edu/2025Nominations.

The Student Undergraduate Teaching and Staff Awards (SUTASA) Committee is also accepting nominations. SUTASA, funded, nominated, and selected entirely by undergraduate students, honors teaching assistants, faculty, and staff for their dedication to undergraduate education. Winners receive monetary awards in recognition of their excellence. Undergraduate students can nominate at go.unc.edu/2025SUTASA.

Important Dates and Ceremony Details

All nominations must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Friday, February 21, 2025. Award recipients will be celebrated during the Chancellor’s Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
