Riya Rai is originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, and is a freshman double majoring in Business and Public Policy. She strongly values community service and hopes to work in the nonprofit sector in her future. At UNC, Riya is involved in AKPsi, Best Buddies, Women in Consulting, and the Nonprofit and Public Sector Club which help her fulfill her goals of service and business. Outside of school, she loves working out, playing tennis, running, and spending time with her friends and family. She is very excited to be a part of the 2029 NC Fellows Cohort and to make a difference in the Chapel Hill community!
