Hayun (Gloria) Lee, originally from South Korea, is a member of the Class of 2028. She plans to major in Nutrition with a minor in Chemistry. Since 2018, she has volunteered as a Korean language instructor, teaching both language and culture by incorporating traditional arts and modern linguistic practices. At UNC, she serves as a peer mentor for ENGL 105i: Health and Medicine, providing weekly one-on-one support to support mentees with their writing assignments and pre-health pathways. As a pre-medical student, she is particularly interested in exploring healthcare disparities through the lens of nutritional injustice.
