Ebenezer Amare

Ebenezer Amare, a sophomore from Alexandria, VA, aspires to be a physician-scientist and policymaker. Majoring in biomedical engineering and neuroscience, he combines his God-given mission to help others with a passion for problem-solving through regenerative medicine. As part of the Helping Hand Project’s Innovation Team, he develops prosthetics to support children using his problem-solving skills. Additionally, he works with organizations promoting educational equity and rehabilitation programs for justice-impacted youth, aligning his efforts with his vision of making a lasting impact on healthcare and society.
