Deekshi Anandham originally from Wayne, PA, is a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Economics and Public Policy. In high school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of her schools award winning yearbook, leading the production and design of the publication. She also worked with the nonprofit organization, New Voters, focused on increasing civic engagement, helping register high school students to vote and encouraging participation among first-time voters.Outside of academics and service, she has trained in Indian classical singing and dancing for over 13 years.
