Daisey Marciano is from New York City and is a freshman pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on child and adolescent development. She is the Founder and Co-President of Psychology and Community at Carolina, an organization dedicated to expanding networking opportunities for students interested in psychology. She leads initiatives that integrate organizing events and facilitating partnerships. Daisey also partners with the UNC Admissions team through sharing her perspective as an out-of-stater, helping prospective students navigate their transition to Carolina. Her leadership is rooted in interpersonal engagement where she is peer mediation certified and leads initiatives to strengthen communication and collaboration among students. Outside of UNC, Daisey is a runner, enjoys hiking, journaling, breaking out into dance with friends, yoga, and singing. She is honored to be a member of the 2026 North Carolina Fellows Program, and is excited to build communities rooted in empathy and collaboration!
