Prerana Kulla is from Harrisburg, NC, and is majoring in Psychology with minors in Data Science and Business of Health. Her sophomore year of high school, she founded a Youth Movement Against Alzheimer’s (YMAA) chapter in high school where she enjoyed forming partnerships with senior homes and seeing her peers develop meaningful connections. Getting closer to YMAA while being on the Youth Leadership Council made Prerana realize she wants to bring this cause to UNC. On campus, Prerana’s serves as a Senior Residential Computing Consultant (RCC) with ResNET. She is also an active member of Carolina Women in Business, CPALS, and Bharat Sangeet. Her freshman year, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Schiller Lab, where she explored the neural and molecular responses to hormone replacement therapy in women. Prerana is an Honors Ambassador, a Buckley Public Service Scholar and a member of the 2029 NC Fellows Program class.
