Anaís Delgado

Anaís Delgado is a first-year student at UNC Chapel Hill from Charlotte, NC majoring in biomedical engineering with a pre-med track and a minor in Spanish in the medical professions. After completing a gap year, where she volunteered in hospitals in the Dominican Republic and Argentina, she has developed a strong passion for global health and medical service. She is a member of UNC’s premier Latin dance team, Qué Rico, and the Medical Information Director for Hearts for Homeless, where she leads blood pressure screenings for underserved populations in Carrboro. At UNC, she is honored to be a Morehead-Cain Scholar, Chancellor’s Science Scholar, Carolina Covenant Scholar, honors student, part of the Accelerated Research Program, and a member of the 2025 North Carolina Fellows Program class.
