One of the standout aspects of working at the Carolina Union is the Forum of Union Student Employees (FUSE). This group, made up of student staff from each of the Union’s five departments, takes the lead in organizing social events and professional development opportunities throughout the year. FUSE ensures that your time at the Union is balanced with both work and fun, offering everything from casual meetups (always with food!) to the highlight of the year—the Grahammy’s. This end-of-year awards banquet celebrates the achievements and contributions of student employees.

In addition to FUSE, the Carolina Union also hosts an annual Fall Conference, known as Camp Graham. This event equips student employees with the training they need to excel in their roles, while also providing professional development opportunities and team-building activities. Camp Graham is the perfect way to kick off the academic year, making sure that you’re ready to tackle your responsibilities with confidence and enthusiasm.
