UNC’s FallFest is the ultimate way to kick off the new academic year and welcome students back to Carolina! This annual event transforms the heart of campus (from the Carolina Union to Polk Place) into a vibrant celebration filled with music, games, food, and lots of freebies. Whether you’re a first-year student eager to explore all that UNC has to offer or a returning Tar Heel looking to reconnect with friends, FallFest offers something for everyone.
The Carolina Union, in partnership with Carolina Dining Services, Student Affairs, Student Wellness, the Carolina Union Activities Board, and the amazing list of sponsors, have worked hard all summer to make sure that FallFest 2024 is the best yet. This year will feature everything from mocktails and inflatables in the Union’s Great Hall to a Battle of the Bands in the Pit to lawn games and giveaways on Polk Place. And speaking of giveaways…this year FallFest attendees could leave with a new tote bag, color-changing cup, bucket hat, t-shirt, and so much more.
