A Night with Elizabeth Acevedo

Join the Carolina Union Activities Board for a night of slam poetry from world-renowned poet, Elizabeth Acevedo on Thursday, September 15 in the FPG Student Union Auditorium.

Acevedo holds a BA in Performing Arts from The George Washington University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland. She has performed for more than twelve years, and has been a featured performer on BET and Mun2, as well as delivered several TED Talks. She has graced stages nationally and internationally including renowned venues such as The Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts, and will now be performing right here at UNC.
