Nadia Mokhtarzada is a sophomore from Washington D.C. She has lived outside the US in Colombia, Turkey, and Tunisia for a large part of her life but loves being a Tar Heel. She is an Economics major and a Geography and Urban Studies and Planning minor. She is passionate about economic and structural development. During the summer of 2024, she interned with USAID Tunisia and UN-Habitat Tunisia and loved learning about how international development and support agencies function and what issues Tunisia is facing.
