Hannah Hayes is a member of the class of 2028 NC fellows cohort. She is from Des Moines, Iowa and is double majoring in political science and public policy with a minor in social and economic justice. She is on the Carolina mock trial team and is on the pre-law track. She is passionate about social justice initiatives, especially relating to climate justice, gun violence prevention, and criminal justice reform. Her involvement includes leadership in the Sunrise Movement, Students Demand Action, and March for Our Lives. She serves as a senior advisor on sustainability for the executive branch of student government. Hannah is excited to work with the other NC fellows to promote justice on campus and beyond.
