Auva Vaziri

Auva Vaziri, originally from Potomac Maryland, is an Honors Business Administration and Political Science major interested in the intersection of business and law. After living in London for 5 years, she returned to the US and founded an international nonprofit that provides language tutoring services to underprivileged youth worldwide. At UNC, she is a Kenan-Flagler assured admit, part of the Honors Carolina Student Association (HCSA) Social & Services Committee and is an Honors Carolina Ambassador, she is a journalist for The Daily Tar Heel, and a Buckley Public Service Scholar (BPSS). Currently, she is interning at PORCH Communities to help alleviate hunger and food insecurity in Chapel Hill and across the country. She is a member of the 2028 North Carolina Fellows Program class.
