Lauren Scott, Employee of the Semester

Lauren Scott, a Production Services student employee, was recently honored as the Carolina Union Employee of the Semester. Lauren is very experienced in her field- proving her mastery with professional lighting equipment and her managerial aptitude time and time again. She also constantly updates her knowledge and looks for opportunities to improve her knowledge and skills. Her contagious enthusiasm inspires new hires and current employees to excel in their respective areas. She often stops by work in between classes to check on shows and see if her fellow staff members need assistance. Throughout her time at the Union, Lauren has worked shifts off-the-clock, has responded countless times to requests for last minute help, and has never sought out recognition for her hard work. Her unwavering enthusiasm and eagerness can be witnessed in many campus events, as her work “brightens” everything from conferences smaller-scale productions. Congratulations to Lauren!
