SPARK

What is Spark?

The mission of the SPARK program centers the development and empowerment of undergraduate women identifying with underrepresented and historically marginalized racial/ethnic backgrounds. Through dialogue, self-reflection, and leadership development, participants are engaged in an immersive opportunity to establish community and be empowered to create positive social change.

The SPARK program consists of a retreat at the start of the Fall semester for undergraduate students in their first year at UNC. All interested students must submit an application to be considered to attend the SPARK retreat, as there are a limited number of spots available. SPARK is also classified as a Campus Life Experience (CLE).

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! Please apply through Heel Life before September 1st, 2023 at 12:00pm EST: https://heellife.unc.edu/submitter/form/start/594291
