UNC SPARK partnered with the Office of Student Life and Leadership to host 15 individuals for an etiquette luncheon on Tues. Jan 30. Women of color had the opportunity to learn customary practices of a formal social gathering from the speaker, Sheena Jacobs.


The mission of the AIDS Memorial Quilt Archive Project is to preserve the powerful images and stories contained within The Quilt while expanding AIDS awareness and HIV prevention education efforts.


UNC Black Student Movement celebrated their 50 year anniversary on November 7, 2017. The installation at the art gallery commemorates 50 years of activity and growth, featuring documents, photographs, and art. Here is to another 50 years of continued ground breaking achievement!

It's American Indian Heritage Month, where we make it a point to highlight the immense amount of important contributions, achievements, and sacrifices of Native people.

The Office of Student Life and Leadership sent eight UNC students to the 2017 Intersect: Diversity and Leadership Conference to represent the University this past weekend.

Jumpman and UNC Basketball in the Pit

A pop-up event in the Pit at the Carolina Union, to build the hype for the brand new Air Jordan 11 Win Like ‘82 sneakers and the 2017-18 season, Jumpman and UNC Men's Basketball hosted an event in the pit of the Carolina Union. Students were able to come meet the team, shoot some baskets and compete for the opportunity to be a member of the team for a day.
