The Muslim Student Association fosters a space for students to feel included, welcomed, and free to practice their religion. With a focus on celebration and education, this group has emerged as a strong voice for Muslim students on campus.

UNC Student Life & Leadership will host a series of involvement fairs from September 24 – 26 across campus. With dozens of participating student organizations, there will be many opportunities to take the leap and join groups that match your interests and passions.

Aquarium Lounge Furniture

Just in time for the Fall Semester, we made some serious improvements to our building. Check out the new spaces we created for you to study, socialize, or just lounge around. The paint is fresh and the new furniture is extra comfy... drop in and see for yourself!


Jordan Bermudez, a junior from Durham majoring in exercise and sports science, will serve as the 2018-19 Chair of the Carolina Union Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors Chair is the student representative on the Board and for the Union. Bermudez has already been heavily involved with the Union in her time at Carolina thus far; she currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, in addition to serving as the President of the Carolina Union Activities Board (CUAB). Within these positions, Bermudez has learned the ins and outs of the operations of the Board, as well as which methods and tactics are best to reach students.


The Office of Student Life and Leadership sent five UNC students to the 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Student Leadership Symposium to represent the University this past month.
